CAT 2 planer boards are a new design unlike any other on the market today. Our boards measure 36 inches long by 13 inches wide by 30 inches tall when The flag is in place and 7 inches with the flag removed. CAT 2 Boards are large enough to support more lines on each side of your boat than other brands and more lines in the water at one time translates to more fish in the boat, more action and steady entertainment for young fisherman. The planer board flag Averages 14 inches long by 10 inches high and made of premium rip stop nylon And sown by hand on a ½ inch diameter 24 inch long wood dowel for long durability and improved visibility in wind and water. The main body and outrigger sponsons are made of wood and are painted florescent Orange and clear coated after to resist water soak. The three runners are made of ½ inch diameter aluminum rod for improved strength. The keel is over 21 inches long and 4 inches tall and made of heave gage steel and painted black. The CAT 2 Planer Boards are equipped with a larger and heaver than normal keel and two outrigger sponsons providing faster plane out, better stability and improved dive resistance than other boards in most situations. The larger keel also holds the Dacron line tighter so you have less line drag in the water than with other boards.
